Song bird

I did this after a French/Philosophy lecture about war. We were debating about the place war held in ancient greek mythology, and I ended up thinking of statues figuring women. I really like those statues, because they don't idealise the body as much as modern media does : if the model's meaty, the statue is meaty, period. (It's actually not as simple, but still).

I tried drawing this with the same idea, adding cruves where most women have them, instead of those overly-skiny girls I usually draw (see here what I mean).

Took me 2 to 3 hours, mechanical pencil - I might ink it / color it if I have the time.
